Every lawn below started with a problem worth understanding. See what we found on each property, how we corrected it, and what the finished lawn looks like.
A lawn rarely fails for no reason. Before we install a single roll of sod, we work out why the last lawn struggled.
Compacted soil, poor soil quality, drainage that holds water in the wrong places, or a grass variety that was never suited to the property. These are the conditions that decide whether a new lawn establishes or slowly declines the same way the old one did.
The projects below show that process. Each one includes the conditions we found on site, the corrections we made before installing, and photographs of the same property before and after.

Moss had taken over large portions of this Greenville yard. Instead of covering the problem with fresh sod, we corrected compacted soil, poor soil quality, and drainage first — then installed a new lawn built to last.

Heavy shade and badly compacted soil had left this backyard thin and bare. We loosened the soil, then installed roughly 16 pallets of fescue, a variety chosen to handle the limited sunlight.
